A Fragile LensDuring the parent information meeting at CCHS last week (see the story on Page 1 of this issue), one issue that came up was transportation. There’s concern among some parents that younger children and older children might be bussed together.
It was explained that the bussing issue is separate from the coordinated school day, and that parents will be consulted about bussing on its own in the future.
 
It was said that likely the triple bussing (bussing K-3, 4-6, and 7-12 all in different busses) would continue, possibly on a different schedule. But it was also noted that the Crowsnest Pass is the only area in the division that does this.
Every other community in the Livingstone Range School Division takes all their students to school on the same busses and at the same time.
