The Tin Roof Bar and Grill, located on main street Blairmore, is now under new ownership and is bringing a new menu, new style, and new feel to downtown Blairmore.
Tara Blair, who was employed as manager at the Tin Roof previously, has taken over ownership along with her partner, Randall Whiteside, a local realtor with Royal LePage South Country. With 13 years of restaurant experience in her pocket, including more than a year's familiarity with the Tin Roof, Blair is excited about the opportunity to make the restaurant better than ever.
"We thought about it for pretty much a year," says Blair. "Everything just fell into place."

The restaurant closed for a week while the new owners worked hard to put everything together, and held a successful re-opening on July 1, Canada Day. They plan a formal grand opening for the near future.
Some things will be staying the same at the Tin Roof, but some things will be changing. The restaurant plans to tone down the fine dining motif, and give the Tin Roof more of a fine pub atmosphere, including more hours of operation, a broader menu, and a focus on staying open later to serve the entire community, including children, as a kids menu is available.
