The Pass Piranhas showed up to swim at the Pincher Creek Dolphins/Lethbridge Orcas Invitational Swim Meet on Saturday, June 4th.
As a result, they walked away with the coveted Net Aggregate Award for collective team placement at the meet.
Personal best times were the order of the day and Pass swimmers placed in the top eight in three-quarters of 60 events entered.
Six Pass Piranhas were also awarded individual aggregates for their age groups.
Bronze for 6 & Under girls went to Olivia Collings. Gold and silver for boys aged 7-8 went to Lyndon Ewen and Aiden Douglas respectively. Abby-Anne Hughes and Samantha Bleich tied in the 9-10 girls age group, and both took home silver neck-ware.
Piranhas coach Liz Rypien also saw gold in the girls 17+ category.
Ethan Ballack was a hair short of receiving the bronze aggregate for 9-10 boys, finishing 1st in 50m butterfly, 2nd in 50m breaststroke, and 3rd in 25m breaststroke. |
