He also recently performed at the second annual The West is Best Fine Art Show at the home of Senator Gerry St. Germain in Langley, B.C. from September 16th to 18th.
The show served as a fundraiser for aboriginal education, raising approximately $100,000 this year.
“It was great getting to be a part of that,” said Dee, adding that he received word that Prime Minister Stephen Harper, who was also in attendance, enjoyed his performance.
Having been performing his Roy
Orbison tribute for the past 15 years, Dee said he most enjoys playing at theatres and concert halls, as opposed to bars.
“We don’t really do the bar scene anymore,” he said.
“It’s nice to play somewhere where people are paying attention to you and really want to listen.”
Dee has also performed at the
Blairmore Legion twice in the past, and said he is excited to return this weekend.
The duo will be performing some numbers they have not performed here previously and Dee will also incorporate humour into his act.
“People should come out for this because we sing songs they love, we tell jokes and just put on a really fun show,” said Dee.

“It’s going to be the best show in town for $10,” he said. “For the price you’re paying it’s a nice evening out and there’s not much you can do for less than that.”
“And when the show is over, people can dance their feet off.”
Advance tickets are available at the Blairmore Legion and Sears for $10, and tickets will also be available at the door for $12.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m.
