Crowsnest Pass RCMP seized a small amount of marijuana and more than $10,000 in cash as a result of a traffic stop on Hwy 22 near Chain Lakes on Sunday, October 23rd.
Police stopped the vehicle for speeding and upon speaking with the occupants and inspecting the vehicle, found a bag containing roughly 10 grams of cannabis, in addition to another bag containing several stacks of $5, $10, $20, and $50 bills.

The two male occupants of the vehicle, a 24-year-old Moosejaw man (driver) and 22-year-old Winnipeg man (passenger), were charged with possession of stolen property and taken to the detachment in Blairmore, where they were lodged in cells while evidence was processed.
The driver was also issued a ticket for speeding and charged with possession of marijuana under 30 grams.
The two men are scheduled to appear in Pincher Creek Provincial Court on January 17th.
