Rum Runner Days saw many things this year, rain, sunshine, midway rides and some lucky winners in the Pass.
The winning ticket number for the Crowsnest Museum 50/50 Raffle was drawn on Saturday, July 21st. The ticket number is 0390363. The $4,305 prize money has yet to be claimed.
The members of the winning team of the Bill Fukami Memorial Golf Tournament that took place on Friday, July 20th, were Trevor Hay, Paul Panisiak, Salim Shah Mohammed and Peter Stewart.
The Crowsnest Pass Boys and Girls club finished their 2012 “It Just Takes One” annual fundraising campaign during Rum Runner Days weekend with the popular duck race. |
The winning ducks were: in the Green Series, first place: winning $1000 was Shana Couillard with Duck #234, second place: winning $750 was Susan Wakaluk with Duck #94 and third place: winning $250 was David Hill.
In the Yellow Series, first place: winning $5000 was Maureen Walan with Duck #1070, second place: winning $300 was Don Pryper, and third place: winning $200 was Jackie Hovan with Duck # 566.
The last duck to cross the finish line won the Great Canadian Barn Dance Package, plus a BGC Gift Package. The lucky winner was Tom Houda, with Duck #155, in the Yellow Series.
