Servus Credit Union recently presented yet another donation to the Crowsnest Community Trails, in hopes of enhancing the trails that connect the five communities of the municipality together.
Sue Moser, Branch Manager of Servus Credit Union in Coleman, donated $1,000 on behalf of Servus on Aug 2nd to the local and frequently used trail that stretches 23 kilometres from Coleman to Hillcrest.
The donation was Servus Credit Union’s second donation to the trails projects.
The trail development plans include primary paved sections, secondary gravel sections and a natural single-track.
Current trail projects that the Municipality is currently working on are a crossing trail over Nez Perce Creek, installation of four memorial benches and new pedestrian-light crosswalks on the trail networks.
The Municipality will also be ordering a new batch of trail memorial benches for 2013.
Many people, including community groups and organizations and local volunteers have worked hard to develop a community-wide trail network with trail signage and infrastructure and the Municipality would like to thank Servus Credit Union and all other parties for their contributions.
