Kittens found in garbage

Police received a call following a bizarre incident that occurred in Coleman on the morning of Aug 6th. A resident found four newborn kittens disposed in a garbage receptacle on 19 Avenue and 86th street.
The complainant heard strange cries from the receptacle, and discovered felines that were contained in a plastic bag. The kittens were transported to a veterinarian for immediate examination but died shortly after.
 


Police are asking anyone with information on this incident, or any other suspicious activity to come forward by calling Crowsnest Pass RCMP at 403-562-2867. Police would like to remind the public that calls are not traced and identities do not need to be revealed.
