The third annual Halloween Buy Back has returned to Crowsnest Dental. Starting in 2009, Crowsnest Dental has offered to buy back kid’s Halloween candy for a dollar a pound. Aside from sparing some cavities, the buy back program will also spare a gloomy Christmas for our troops overseas, as the candy will be sent to them in Christmas packages. The buy back will take place on November 2nd, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., although the office will also buy back candy on November 1st, as there is no school.
“It gives local kids the opportunity to trade off their Halloween candy for some cold hard cash,” said Cheryl Oszkowski from Crowsnest Dental. Kids will also get a chance to enter their name in a contest that can win them and their classmates a movie party at the Orpheum movie theatre. “We think it brings great awareness to the community,” said Oszkowski. Crowsnest Detal is located on 12th Street and 21st Avenue in Blairmore.
