Chakras, located on Main Street Blairmore, offers more than what you would think.
A day of pampering and indulging can easily be achieved at the salon located at 13025 20th Avenue, Blairmore.
Once inside the building, immediate relaxation is felt by clients through soothing music and beautiful decor which gives a feeling of calm.
In addition to hair styling, cuts and colour, Chakras offers facials, manicures, pedicures, makeup, spray tanning and massages by two certified massage therapists.
The qualified hair stylists, Jamie Robinson and Linda Germo and Joclyne Houde, cut and style hair, as well as offer other services such as coloring, extensions and specialized hair treatments.
Prior to taking in new customers, Chakras’ hair stylists have a consultation with every client.
“It helps us get an idea of what the customer wants to achieve,” hair stylist Linda Germo said.
Chakras offers specialized Massage Body Treatments and Reflexology, Thai Massage, and a Hot Stone Massage.
The massage and body treatments work out tension and relieve injured tissue while calming circulation. The varying techniques of manipulating the muscles leave the customer feeling relaxed and revived.
Chakras offers an Aqua Polish, a skin exfoliating treatment using fragrant sea-salts and plant emollients which leaves skin smooth, refreshed and hydrated. The Mineral Glow is a refining treatment which gently exfoliates with a blend of lavender, aloe kelp and ground walnut shells leaving skin radiant and glowing.
Chakras offers a number of body wraps, in which the body is wrapped in a warm, cocooned layers, intended to nourish the skin.
Chakras offers airbrush tanning and hand and foot care, as well as three types of facials: the Essential 1 Hour Facial, the Green Science Facial and the Outer Peace Acne Facial, each specialized in rejuvenating and revitalizing the facial skin.
Chakras does eyelash and eyebrow tinting, perms and extensions.
They wax eyebrows, lips, cheeks, chins, half legs, full legs, underarms, chests, backs and noses. Chakras also offers nose and ear piercing.
For men, Chakras offers Sports Facials, Execuative Manicures, the Gentleman’s Pedicure.
Finally, Chakras offers spa packages.
The Serenity package includes the Essential Facial, Aqua Polish and 1 hour massage. The Tranquility package offers a 1 hour massage, a spa manicure and a spa pedicure. The Timeless Package includes a hot stone massage, the Essential Facial, the Mineral Glow and a make-up application. The Indulgence package includes the Seaweed wrap, a 1 hour massage, a Spa Manicure and a Spa Pedicure.
