    Insurance plans discussed
at Chamber luncheon

LINDSAY GOSS
Pass Herald Reporter
The Crowsnest Chamber of Commerce held it’s month luncheon on Wednesday, November 14th, where guest speaker Scott Walls from Chamber of Commerce Insurance Plan discussed the benefits of making the switch to C of C.
“If all my other businesses have grown like my Chamber business has in the past six years since joining Alice and McLane, I would be on easy street, because the Chamber Plan has seen businesses expanding year after year,” said Wells.
“That’s where Chamber has its strength- dealing with the smaller markets,” he said, adding that “the real bread and butter” of Chamber is a number fewer than nine employees.
The Chamber Benefits Plan, which has offered over 40 years of service, is run by small businesses for small businesses, and is the largest plan of it’s kind in Canada.
It’s run under the Nonprofit Chamber Insurance Cooperation of Canada.
“Knowing the history and evolution of the plan of it is really important,” said Wells. “With the growth of small businesses across Canada, Alberta and Saskatchewan have seen the largest growth from the Chamber Benefits plan.”
Wells went on to say what the Chamber Group Insurance Plan offers. Aside from providing small businesses with access to “big business” group plan features and exclusive agency distribution system, it also offers “fully bodied” benefits, (up to nine lives) and an average renewal action plan.

Chamber of Commerce Insurance Plan has no industry restrictions, guaranteed approval, guaranteed renewal and rate stability.
“We offer services like best doctors at no additional costs,” said Wells, stressing that in this current day and age, competition between doctors can be fierce.
It also provides coverage to over 25,000 firms just like yours. We can provide your firm with a comprehensive employee benefits plan – even if you’re the only employee. Here’s how we can deliver more than a typical group plan to your organization.
Claims are pooled over more than 25,000 employers providing more stable premiums from year to year. To learn more about Chamber of Commerce Insurance Plan or to receive a quote, visit www.chamberofcommerce.ca
There are still a few tickets left for the Chamber of Commerce Christmas party, which will be held on December 1st. For members ticket prices are 40 dollars and for nonmembers, 45 dollars. Everyone is welcome to attend but tickets are selling fast.
