Pharmasave will be having their grand opening this weekend, allowing the new management of the store to meet and greet the community through an afternoon of activities and unbeatable deals.
The grand opening will be held on Saturday, June 22nd at Pharmasave in Blairmore and will offer an afternoon of meet and greet and fun and games, including a prize wheel.
The wheel can only be spun with a minimum purchase or a donation to the food bank. There will also be aggressive sales on items to be sold at below sale price but only for the day.
“We’ve been open for a few months now, but it is time we really come out and meet the community,” said store owner Aaron Koegler.
On Tuesday, February 19th, Koegler, from Pincher Creek, became the owner of Blairmore’s Pharmasave assuming the roles of former owners Keith and Jane Tananka.
Koegler gained experience running a pharmacy from operating Aaron’s Pharmasave in Pincher Creek, a store which he still operates.
Koegler explained that he became a pharmacist because of the interactions it allows him to have with people and the challenges it exudes, and the store in Blairmore has given him both.
“We’re settled here and I think we are going to stay,” he said.
Although the transition from the former management to the current management has had its bumps in the road, Koegler said that it was the staff that made it a much easier transition.
“The staff has been excellent and they have worked hard to make the transition smooth,” he said, adding that although business is good, he wants to make the relationship he has with customers more personal, and that’s why he is having the grand opening.
“If you haven’t been in the store to check us out yet, come and give us a chance,” he said. “We want to meet you.”
