Copy Magic in Blairmore is writing a cheque to Crowsnest Pass Minor Hockey for $500 on behalf of Blairmore ATB Financial Agency, September 27th.
In 301 ATB communities across Alberta, we are proud to announce that community investments totaling $236,000 in celebration of ATB’s 75th Anniversary, according to Chad Petrone, of Logomotives group.
Chad was given the choice on which community organization would receive the donation.
“Hockey has a massive historical significance to the community,” he says.
NHL players like Darcy Wakaluk, Rick Rypien and Doug Houda (now coach for the Boston Bruins) can also trace their roots to the Crowsnest Pass, Petrone says.
The first ATB branch opened 75 years ago in in Rocky Mountain House, according to Petrone.
Blairmore ATB opened 30 years ago and has been serving the community since.

75 years later, ATB has grown into the province’s largest Alberta-based financial institution, according to Petrone.
