Garbage dumped in forest near York Creek Snowmobile launch.

A pile of garbage and debris was found just past the York Creek snowmobile launch in Coleman.
Concerned residents Mark Cnossen and Peter Rosner cleaned up the debris, loaded it all into a truck and trailer and hauled it all to the Cowley dump.
The clean-up took place on Sunday, September 22nd and with the debris being hauled to the Cowley Landfill the next day.
The debris weighed in at just over 900 kg. Cnossen said there are fewer areas in forest reserve like this.
