The Archrival Motorcycle Club may sound sinister, but these motorcycle miscreants are rolling out the goodwill these holidays.

The Archrivals dropped off 167 lbs. of food for the Crowsnest Pass Food Bank and enough food for a Christmas dinner, (for a local family fallen on hard times) December 14th.

“We bought presents, food and a Christmas tree- the whole nine yards for one local family in need,” said James Hermens, mechanic and member of the Archrivals.

“It’s a good thing to do- it’s giving back.”

The Archrival Motorcycle Club is a non-profit organization in it’s first year consisting of nine motorcycle enthusiasts who organize rides for members in places like the Crowsnest Pass, Lethbridge, Waterton and parts of B.C.

While the motorcycle club may be new, the spirit of charity it has undertaken is not.

“All the monies other than what we need to run the club go back to charity,” said Hermens, adding they already donated to The Ride For Sight, in addition to the local food bank.

Hermens said it’s all about the brotherhood when asked why he chose to start the motorcycle club with his longtime friend and founder of the club, Cordell Shears .

“We help each other out; whether it is repairs or on runs (motorcycle trips),” he said.

“If you need a part (while on the road), someone is there to help you out.”
