John and Erica Warlow invited guests to the Grand Opening of Black Rock Pizzeria and Bakery and Bamboo Bistro on 129 Street in Blairmore on Saturday, January 25th. “We were packed all day with well over 100 people walking through our doors. It was nice to see a lot of new faces, people we haven’t seen before,” commented the Warlows.
Guests were presented with sample foods from the bakery and restaurant. The Warlow’s were able to showcase their new lunch menu which includes Canadian classics such as pulled pork, club house, steak sandwich, French onion soup and a soup of the day.
The restaurant features a private banquet room, which seats approximately 40 people. It can be used for retirement parties, birthday parties or any event you want held in a private setting. The room has a television that can be hooked up to computers for those interested in having a business meeting.
The main restaurant holds up to 90 people. Diners can enjoy the warm décor, beautiful bar area and a built in fish tank all making for a classy yet relaxing dining experience.
The bakery is a new addition to the facility. “It’s doing really well, people are getting used to having their own bakery in town.” The breads and desserts made in the bakery are all homemade, without preservatives or chemicals. “Our bread won’t last two weeks because it’s natural and healthy,” said Warlow.
The bakery is also offering glutten free pastry and pizza. “The Gluten Free food is really taking off.”
Renowned Spirit Medium Lee Ashley will be hosting a dinner reading at the Bambo Bistro in Blairmore on Thursday, February 6th from 6:30 – 9:30 pm. The event is sold out, however, with the great response a second show has been booked for March.
The Bamboo Bistro and Black Rock Pizzeria & Bakery are open 7 days a week from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm to take care of all your dinner needs.
“We want to bring a variety of quality food to the Pass,” said Warlow. “That has always been our vision and I think we are finally there.”
