Two-year-old Hailey Dunbar-Blanchette is still missing. The Amber Alert for Hailey remains in effect and was expanded to B.C., Saskatchewan and Montana on Monday afternoon. Her abduction, the death of her father Terry Blanchette, 27, and the Sept. 9 death of Hanne Meketech, 69, has sent shockwaves through this usually peaceful mountain town. “It’s devastating, this doesn’t happen in our community,” said Mayor Blair Painter. “My thoughts and prayers go out to Hailey and her family for her safe and speedy return.”
