The Turtle Mountain Riding Club held their annual awards banquet Sunday October 2nd at the Lundbreck Community Hall.The event was catered by Chris's Restaurant.
High Point winners this year were Beginner- Emily MacDonald, High Point Tiny Mite - Derrick Toppin, Junior High Point - Morgan Dingreville, Intermediate High Point- Hailey Grove and Senior High Point - Hayley Strandquist.
Emily received a headstall and reins and the other High Point winners received a Buckle for their efforts.
Derrick Toppin also was awarded the Highest High Point Trophy and the Horse and Rider Trophy for his 146 points riding his horse Cash.
James Jensen was voted in by members present as Sportsman of the Year and Stan Francis was awarded the Volunteer of the year award .
Tiny Mites Kiah Simpson, Mia Jensen and Londyn Friehiet were awarded 2nd, 3rd , and 4th placements in the Tiny Mite age group. Rylee Stedman Tiny Mite recieved a participation award.

The Riding Club would like to thank all our members and volunteers for their participation and support throughout this riding season. A special thank you to our executive, your hard work and dedication was outstanding and we appreciate all you do for the club. The Riding Club would like to thank the Crowsnest Pass Ag Society that sponsored all our youth prizes and High Country Western Wear, Crockets, the Kirby Family and Sinistra Hair Salon for your generous donations towards our silent auction and door prizes.
With the great support from our families and communities our awards banquet was a great success and was enjoyed by all that attended.
