In 1993 Anita Ferguson took a chance and bid, along with 11 other people, to operate a Sears’s outlet pick-up store in the Crowsnest Mall. Ferguson won the bid and her relationship with Sears Canada began.
With the success of the catalogue portion of the store and a new location in downtown Blairmore, Ferguson decided to branch out in 2008 becoming a dealer store with stock including fridges, stoves, and dishwashers, household items you can buy right from in-store and take home.
Ferguson is expanding again, carrying a selection of living room furniture which includes couches, chairs and coffee tables.
When you walk through the store, it’s really like walking into a regular Sears store in any city.
