Slush Cup 2017
It was all sunshine and splash at the Pass Powderkeg Ski Resort for their annual Slush Cup on March 26, also marking the hill’s closing day for the year. Over 70 skiers, snowboarders and even tobogganers went for the good old pond skim across a chilly 50-foot pool. There were successful glides, successful attempts, and even the audience received a few collateral splashes. Those that decided to attempt the slush pit in style dressed up as Angry Birds, hot dogs, fluorescent orange mad hatters and other creative ensembles.
