CANADA 150
On July 1, Canada celebrated 150 years of nationhood. Several groups throughout the community once again organized Canada Day Festivities in Coleman. Floats and riders packed the Horace Allen School parking lot as walkers and bicycles lined up at Flumerfelt park. The parade set off at 11 a.m. and ended at the Coleman Legion. There were fireworks, pig roast and the opening of the APP Barracks by the Coleman Historical Society.
