A fire that sparked on October 17 between the Sentinel Industrial Park and Coleman tested the endurance, training and collaboration of firefighters and saw many agencies and communities come together with the collective goal of protecting Crowsnest Pass. They certainly succeeded, with no lives lost and only minimal structures destroyed. The dry conditions and heavy winds made fighting this fire a particularly challenging task.
