Fire ban for Crowsnest Pass
Firefighters and emergency services responded to a grass fire in Blairmore on Aug. 9, 2018, an incident that came perilously close to residences. Crowsnest Pass Fire/Rescue were dispatched at approximately 1 p.m. to combat the fire on the south side of Highway 3 across from the Crowsnest Pass Golf & Country Club. “The extremely dry conditions were the special challenge,” says Fire Chief/Manager of Protective Services Jesse Fox.
